Pre-Christmas Cruise

Sail Date: December 16, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Ship is spotless, and had plenty of hand sanitizers all over with staff urging you gently to use them..

Pros: Veendam ship lovely. Deluxe suite & verandah very large with great bed and verandah furniture. We are tall and large people so the chairs on the verandah were perfect for us.

Cons: The dining room food, was to fussy for our palete. We preferred the food at the Lido Restaurant . Also the chairs and couch in the suite were to low to the ground

Recommends Veendam? Yes!

Belize City, Belize
Been there before so we stayed at the port area. Most of the tours are to strenous for us. Would like to see more motorized tours
Key West, Florida
Didnt go ashore as we have been there so many times.
Don't Miss: The conch trolley is a great tour

Another St. Thomas shopping mecca. I have flown to Cozumel and stayed at a hotel, much better . The motorized tour was cancelled not enough people signed up. Of the passengers we spoke with, most stayed at the port area because of the shopping
Santo Tomas De Castilla, Guatemala
The tale of two towns tour was a joke. We paid to see poverty, filth, shipping containers, the tour bus and guide as well as a stop at the hotel were the only decent part of the tour. Im sure that area must have something else to see!
