The cruise should never have left Miami due to bad weather, because of the bad decision to continue, it did not reach any port on the itinerary.

I am always confused by passengers believe they know more about operating a cruise ship safely than the professionals who have years of experience and lots of safety training.

I'm sorry you had a bad experience. I'm not sure why it didn't allow you to select a boarding time. I was able to choose my boarding time for our Virgin cruise in February from the Virgin app when I filled out my sailor info. Hope your next vacation is better!
