Wonderful cruise by whittlewitch

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

Overall our cruise was fantastic , some of the trips were a bit rushed and not enough time at location . The ship is fantastic and the staff onboard are the best I've seen on a ship. I would definitely go with Thomson again !

Day 2 and sitting in... by Craigr148

Sail Date: /

Day 2 and sitting in Horizons lounge looking out to Corinth harbour. Must say Sao far day 2 put of 14 and we can't fault the commitment of every member of staff that we have met so friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Yes the Spirit is an old lady but has been so well maintained you just have to appreciate it. Cabin 77 on deck 8 is absolutely fantastic no doubt I will post more over the next couple of weeks but Thomsons have a gem in the Spirit and the team that look after you

Great food, staff 10 out of 10, could not fault anything, the hole holiday was great, good ports to visit, we had perfect weather, even went on a gondola in venice.

We’ve cruised 10 times on... by nabley

Sail Date: /

We’ve cruised 10 times on many different ships, been on the Spirit twice and again this September. Yes it’s an old boat but that aside the staff, the food and the lovely friendly atmosphere is second to none. Because the ship is small it’s so much easier to make friends because you see the same people more often. The entertainment is great too. Don’t think twice about cruising on this ship, do so while you can before it leaves the fleet.

Enjoyed our cruise around undiscovered... by dukedog

Sail Date: /

Enjoyed our cruise around undiscovered Spain, only ever been to Ibiza Town and loved the atmosphere. The food was good and Hot, more homely food than fine dining and good choice at the buffet. The entertainment was the usual tui show team, some good lip sync lol. The comedian was dated, some new ones would be good. The Spirit is an old traditional ship and is probably ready for it's retirement later this year.

Taste of the Adriatic by Crowesonholiday

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

Favorite ports were definately Valletta and Montnegro, and we are planning to visit both for longer periods sometime in the future.

Taranto is one place that the cruise would benefit from steering clear of, either visit somewhere else or stay longer in Valletta.

While the local authorities took great efforts to make us welcome this feeling did not extend to the locals, it felt more like we were in the way rather than visitors willing to spend good solid Euro's in their town.

Adriatic Affair by alanfaescotland

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

This was our 1st cruise with Thomson, and we really enjoyed it. The ship was great (showing it's age in some ways, but still lovingly maintained) and the crew were a really happy, friendly team. The crew could not do enough for us, the entertainment was excellent - one show was better than the next! The food was great with a huge choice over the week. We especially enjoyed the "Farewell to Venice" on deck 10, with champagne and canapés and brilliant views of Venice. There was a small extra charge for this, but worth every penny!

Fun times by NelllyBelly

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Large Group

First night was very hectic.... the queue to check in was far to long a wait.... When we did get on the boat and we just got to our room and we had to do the fire drill for another half hour .... this needs to be thought out

Excellent service throughout.........

ship is kept very clean and the food was of a high quality. Plenty of everything......

The Compass Resturant needs to be able to seat groups of 10.... we found this quiet frustrating that we had to be split up for dinner

Fantastic by ju64

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

The whole experience was relaxed, friendly & comfortable, the food was excellent, we ate in the lido most time which was informal with loads of choice for every palett, we also used formal restaurant which was lovely too but I wanted a chilled holiday & the lido suited us, the shows where fantastic & very professional, u were not hassled to buy photos & other Nick nacks life some cruise liners, I would highly recommend it!

Fabulous by seville123

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Large Group

Excellent service on board the Thompson Spirit. Food was brilliant, we opted for the all inclusive package therefore the drinks were plentiful. Our party was 10 in total,a bit problematic at times seating us all together for dinner in the restaurant which was a shame. Various flights arriving at the same time did cause delays in boarding the ship. Possibly this is something which needs to be looked at. Shame about the delay on our return. Would like to say that despite the above hiccups we all had a brilliant holiday. Excursion to Jerusalem and Bethleham was amazing, Santorini was spectacular, Marmaris very pretty and Antalya so friendly. Big shout out to the cabin staff who worked so hard in keeping our rooms spotless. The staff who served us at dinner and those in the bar areas who made sure we always had a drink and always served us with a smile. We will be back 😊

Aegean Titans / Timeless Treasures cruise by karlsmith25

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Loved every minute of it, and wishing I was still onboard. Hate coming home from a cruise. Was nice to see the staff again and have pics and a catch up.. Will definitely be going on the Spirit again before it goes end of November. My cousin enjoyed it, but very doubtful if he will be joining me this year. I want to do the Dubrovnik itinerary in the autumn 2017, just a shame that as a solo traveller it wont let me book 2 weeks, but only a week.

love this ship been on... by kdew336

Sail Date: /

love this ship been on it 3 times not a luxury ship but small and intimate older ship so looks like a proper ship on outside.Easy not to get lost on unlike Pand o ships Ventura Oceana and Azura .Also there seems enough room for every one being smaller not like the bun fights on the larger ships when it comes to finding a table at the buffet restaurant's. Needs some refurbishment last time I went on her but still love this ship.
