This is our third time... by Ian___&___Julie

Sail Date: /
This is our third time on Majesty. and so nice to have a lovely warm welcome from the staff who remembered us from 4 years ago. we really feel at home on the Majesty and we will really miss her when she goes at the end of the season. she has many years left in her. such a shame Thomson are dropping her from the fleet.

Great first cruise by laylays

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple
Great first trip. Won't be our last. Everyone made the holiday memorable for all the right reasons. The ship although not 'posh', was just right for us and the staff were all amazing.

Don't take any notice of... by kellylou003

Sail Date: /
Don't take any notice of the negative reviews. The ship is constantly being cleaned and all the staff work tirelessly day and night to make your experience one to remember. Of course there can be small problems but what would you expect when there are well over 1000 passengers on board all wanting or needing something at some point. The cabins are cleaned twice a day and a chocolate left on your pillow at night. The waiters will even bring your drinks to your sunbed and food is on tap right up until 12.30am. All staff are friendly and very helpful. There are some drinks at a premium if you have taken the drinks package but usually not much more than £1.50 for some cocktails. The bottles of water are £2 for 1.5l but you can fill a cup from the water machine free of charge. Unless you are ultra fussy, in which case it won't matter where you go, you will definitely have a relaxing holiday. We're just about to start our second week and are already planning for next year.

Lovely time on the ship.... by HuntsHoliday17

Sail Date: /
Lovely time on the ship. entertainment was very good and really enjoyed the shows and games. We treated our self to a deluxe cabin with our son on deck 9 but really wish we hadn't. so much noise above with chairs and tables being moved in the early hours. food was nice but upstairs the buffet can get a bit boring and in some days downstairs in the restaurant didn't suit everyone's taste. the crew and staff are amazing . Elizabeth who works in four seasons was so sweet along with Sylvester and Gerald. great ship but has had its day and looks dated. anyone going on this trip will have an amazing time but don't go expecting the Ritz.

what can I say, this... by cliff67

Sail Date: /
what can I say, this was our first cruise and it met and exceeded our expectations. The ship is immaculate and we'll maintained. The choice of places to eat or drink was great and the evening meals in the four seasons restaurant where fantastic and we were looked after so well by Jade and Raymond. Also a big thank you to all the staff who work so hard and look after everyone so well. We will be doing another Thomson cruise in the future as we couldn't fault this holiday.

Thomson Majesty Spanish Delights 16 May by chanters

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Family (older children)

My favourite parts of the cruise were the staff in the dining room, the broadway shows and doing my first Segway trip in Valencia on my own. The cabin slept 3 and as an adult the climb up and down the bunk every day was an experience especially as there were no hand rails but I only slept up there so it wasn't an issue and far better value than me paying over the odds for a single cabin! The entertainment seemed to be in odd places around the ship with the bands playing in places with no dancefloors and the nightclub was empty all week which had a lovely dance floor. Entertainment staff didn't mingle either. the odd layout meant we had to keep going up and down between bars to find some music. Prefer the Dream. Airport assistance at Palma airport was shocking, had it booked for both my parents and they only arrive at the gate 5 mins before boarding despite me going through and waiting over an hour for them. Also saw people turned away from the restaurant for wearing shorts and t shirts, its a formal restaurant, go to the buffet if you don't want to make an effort.

Fantastic Easter Break by shellandchris

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Family (young children)

We loved this cruise my 5 year old daughter wanted to join in all the kids club activities, all the girls who organised the kids club were great especially Clementine. The food on the ship was fantastic and plentiful, we also had a drinks package that was well worth what we paid.  All the staff were great the couple that stood out were Olga, Anna who served drinks.  The destinations were great especially Madeira, we went on a tobogan 2 km down the street really good fun my daughter loved it.  I would recommend this ship and will be traveling again with thomson cruises.  Don't want to be negative but rooms need updating but this in no way affect my enjoyment.

Amazing by janiceashin

We had an amazing holiday on board Thomson Majesty, it was our first cruise and it exceeded our expectations.

The ship is an older ship but immaculately clean, the food was really nice and so much choice you will never be hungry.

The staff are what makes it a fantastic holiday, they are happy, polite attentive, they can not do enough for you.

The entertainment team are just brilliant, the shows are fantastic.

The cruise director and assistant cruise director were really good and the whole team were just amazing.

They keep you entertained all day with quiz's and game shows and so on.

I would definitely recommend the Majesty.

Happy

enjoyable and relaxing by camillamcmahon

Sail Date: / Traveled As: Couple

This was our first cruise and we really enjoyed it apart from the one bad night at sea due to adverse weather at sea and then not getting to Agadir as a result the next day. Having read the reviews before we went I was a bit worried, but we found the food excellent, the cleanliness was second to none and all the staff were very helpful and friendly, entertainment was top class and very professional. We were upgraded to an inside plus cabin which was a nice surprise. If I had any complaint it would be that there was not really enough time to really explore the places we went to properly.

I would definitely recommend this to anybody and we will certainly be booking a cruise again.Love

Just returned from a colourful... by coolershaker

Sail Date: /
Just returned from a colourful coast cruise on the Thomson majesty, the ship is a bit dated but clean and nothing out of place. All the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, food was good and plenty of it. Some of the ports of call in my opinion weren't very exciting. The best place we called at was Funchal plenty to do there for the day. Plenty of entertainment on board to keep everybody happy throughout the day and night.
