Review summary

We enjoyed a relaxing 2 weeks on the shop. We enjoyed all the ports even though we'd been to all of them before. Coco Cay is beautifully landscaped and had lots of places to sit. Glad it was only 1/2 full each week. Shows and events would be harder to get reservations for if the ship was totally full. Lots of safety protocols for covid. Lots of cleaning and sanitizing everywhere.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Handicapped people are given priority boarding by staff at the pier, so our boarding process was easy.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining room food was excellent. Pizza at Sorrento's is hot and has a great thin, crispy crust. Park Cafe and Cafe Promenade serve good snacks. Desserts everywhere are excellent. Buffet food is served by staff due to covid, so it takes a bit longer.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the large hot tubs in the solarium area. Trivia contests were fun. Fitness center is huge.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Flight, Hairspray and the 2 ice shows are all wonderful. We didn't get to see the Aqua Show due to weather cancelling the show twice. The headliner, Mark Preston has a great voice.

Children's Programs

We didn't travel with any children and didn't attend any of the programs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff all over the ship were welcoming, friendly, helpful, eager to please. They are all happy to be back working. We did 2 back to back cruises and were often asked how things were going, if we were happy, how they could help.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Staff were constantly cleaning and sanitizing. Central Park is beautifully landscaped and well taken care of. Boardwalk is nice and open. Everything is well maintained. Deck 5 main dining room has windows, but the view is blocked by lifeboats. Our ocean balcony cabin was laid out well and was good size. I'm glad we didn't stay in an inside balcony - you can see what's going on, but have no privacy or quiet on the balcony.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very well laid out ocean view balcony. 7 drawers, 2 separate closets, plenty of hangers. Good size cabin. Cleaned wonderfully each day by our cabin steward. Mattress very hard for our taste, we learned later in the cruise that it's possible to request a pillow top.

Ship tip

There's a nice quiet outside area with chairs on Deck 7 around the corner from the climbing walls.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Organized and quick. After breakfast people are asked to wait in their cabins until their departure group number is called. This way the departure area and elevators are not crowded with people waiting in line. So the process is much easier and faster when your number is called.
