Review Summary

One of the reasons we like to vacation to to get away. One of the things we enjoy getting away from are the daily sales pitches, advertisers, commercials and "spam" as they call it, in general. We found the cruise became a constant opportunity for Pricess to pitch all of their optional products and services to us, most of which we did not want. We already paid our good money for a cruise. After 7 days, we wanted to shout "please, stop the spam!" and let us enjoy what we already paid for.

Ports Of Call

Victoria, British Columbia

Like the previous 2 stops, a long walk into town. A shuttle will take you for a price. Neighborhood didn't seem to be the safest walking back in the dark.
Don't Miss: Sticky Wicket Pub in the downtown area.

Ketchikan, Alaska

Nice shops within walking distance. Free wi-fi while in port from the docked side of the ship.

Juneau, Alaska

Mendenhall Glacier. Cabbies willing to give you a nice tour of it and the rest of town. Ship docks at the very furthest pier. Its' a very long walk to town, or a shuttle will take you for a price.

Skagway, Alaska

The Red Onion Saloon was lively. Again, ship docked at the pier the furthest away from the town. Other ships had shorter walks.

Pros: The comic/entertainer the first night out

Cons: poor stateroom security, sales pitches for extras
