Embarkation went smoothly, as anticipated. Our balcony cabin on Verandah deck was the most spacious we've ever had. The balcony had a teak deck, and was very private. The food was very good, and our waiter and busboy were outstanding. Entertainment for the most part was good, especially the broadway-style dance troupe. (My wife and I are 51, so this might give you a point of reference). The magician on the last night seemed like a last-minute substitution and was unrehearsed. We never felt crowded on this ship, nor did we stand in lines. Tendering in Sitka went smoothly. Being able to get out on deck on the bow of this ship was a plus while cruising Glacier Bay and when (orca) whale watching in the Inside Passage. We highly recommend this itinerary and ship.
