I was on this ship in Europe 1994. Since this ship was the first one built after Carnival took over HAL they still retained the HAL look and experience compared to the later sister ships. Cabins are big bathrooms (outside) have tubs and compared to the original HAL ships wherein if you take a shower the plastic curtain sticks to your body. As always HAL food is superb, entertainment stinks (in Belgium dancers walked around the stage with hand held bells through out the whole show) except for the crew cultural shows which are well worth waiting for. Prizes for games are very good compared to other cruise lines.
