The Star Princess is not a brand new ship\, but is very well maintained and clean.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
All the food was very good. The buffet had a lot of different options every day\, every meal (maybe too many!) and the \"specialty\" restaurants were worth the extra fee. We especially enjoyed Sabatini's (Italian).

5 out of 5
Loved the variety of events throughout the day on \"at sea\" days - always something to do from lectures and bingo to art auctions\, trivia and variety shows.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
We loved our stateroom steward and our Sanctuary attendant was spectacular! Most staff is very friendly and courteous.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
We had a stateroom with balcony which really makes the whole room seems 10X bigger - I highly recommend it\, especially for a cruise with as much to see as an Alaskan cruise.

Pros: Relaxing atmosphere onboard\, friendly helpful staff

Cons: Some of the timing in regards to the scheduling of events generates very crowded conditions in areas of deck 7

Recommends Star Princess? Yes!
