Ok, not great

Sail Date: June 01, 2013

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

Too little time in some ports\, too much time in others.

Poor bar service aboard... It took forever to order anything from the bar. Too few bartenders. Poor service in general. They were slow and seemed disinterested.

Horrible sewage odors coming from certain parts of the ship. Obviously something was broken.

Food\, good

Dining room service\, friendly but slow. Overall good.

Housekeeping\, great

Bar service\, bad

Ports of call\, bad

Music and dancing itineraries\, not well thought out.

General entertainment was ok. The crew talent show was not that great. They had too many \"filler\" skits by the cruise director staff\, and not enough employees participating in the event. They should delete the event\, not force it.

Pros: Seeing the glacier

Cons: Too little time in some ports\, too much time in others. Poor bar service aboard... It took forever to order anything from the bar. Too few bartenders. Poor service in general. They were slow and seemed disinterested.

Recommends Star Princess? No.

Ship Quality
Odor\, disgusting
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
