Review SummaryThe Cruise was great. Cabin was very clean, service was great. Entertainment was great. Alaska was great. But there are also negatives. It took us approx 2.5 hrs to get on the ship to register, the line was slow going. Being a Senior, it was tough on your legs, No place to sit down.We cruised on other lines and we had no problem with long lines and we had a place to sit.
Princess needs a time efficiency study here.
Also the buffet line, majority of the time, was long, and always we were looking for an empty table.
The land tour office was open 2 hrs in the morning and 2 hrs in the evening during our dinner hour. So if you make your reservation make it before the cruise or make it after you get off the ship. Many tours independent of the Princess line are cheaper, approx 40% cheaper.
Ketchikan is a beautiful little town, but we could not enjoy it due to the short stay there. Again trying to get back on the ship at Ketchikan, long lines. Need a time study here for efficiency. Victoria stop was at night and short, we didn't bother to go off the ship. If we go back to Alaska I would try another Cruise line to compare and an improved itinerary.
