EMBARKATION WAS SLOW. THERE WERE NOT ENOUGH PORTERS AND THE LINES WERE LONG. FOOD SERVICEWAS NOT UP TO THE USUAL PRINCESS SERVICE. THE WAITERS DID NOT CATER TO US AS IN THE PAST. MAYBE THIS WAS BECAUSE THEY WERE NEW OR MAYBE BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T HAVE TO WORK HARD FOR THEIR TIP SINCE IT WAS AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED. THERE WAS A GREAT KIDS' PROGRAM, HOWEVER, MY 4-YEAR-OLD GRANDSON GOT SCARED ONE NIGHT BECAUSE HE WAS TAKEN TO THE DISCO WHICH WAS DARK AND HAD BLINKING LITES.OUR ROOM STEWARD NEVER BROUGHT US FRUIT, EVEN THOUGH IT WAS ORDERED TWO DAYS IN A ROW. ALSO MISSING, WERE POST CARDS, PENS, AND INFORMATION ON THE SHIP. WE WERE NEVER GIVEN A LIFE JACKET FOR OUR GRANDSON. THE SHIP WAS BIG AND VERY BEAUTIFUL BUT THIS WAS DEFINITELY NOT ONE OF THE BEST PRINCESS CRUISES I TOOK. SEVERAL PEOPLE WE SPOKE WITH SAID THE RCI LINE OFFERED MUCH BETTER SERVICE.
