Princess 7-day Eastern Caribbean: Great!

Sail Date: April 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is in very good condition and it seems intimate. I never felt like there were 3,000 + people on board. The pools and recreation areas are large enough and well placed to satisfy whatever activity and noise level you wish. The drink prices were not outrageous, but photo prices are getting absurd. The buffet for dinner was somewhat lacking in choices and food quality.

Pros: Excellent itinerary, wait staff service superb in all dining venues, many LARGE pools onboard!

Cons: Onboard entertainment in the evenings.

Recommends Star Princess? Yes!

Ship Quality
Service and Staff
Even the wait staff in the 24-hour dining venue was exceptional.
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a balcony on Baha deck and the balcony was very short, and the room needed better air conditioning.
Please get rid of the art auctions, especially given the controversy on the internet about things being sold for ridiculously higher prices than they are worth. The stage shows and entertainers were very second rate.
