Beware Princess Cruises

Sail Date: April 01, 2007

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Balcony

We went shopping at The House of Diamonds in Ocho Rios with the shopping desk representative. She recommended a diamond that we could have made into a ring. We hesitated, and she said buy it, take it home and have it appraised, there's a 30 day "no questions asked" return policy. So we bought it and had it appraised - twice. The appraised value was $2000 less than we spent. They told us "you'd pay much more in the States". Here we are, months later, trying to get someone - Princess or The House of Diamonds - to honor the guarantee. It looks like a lost cause. So beware Princess Cruises - we can not recommend Princess in any way.

Cons: The shopping desk staff

Recommends Star Princess? No.
