Not too bad

Sail Date: May 01, 2007

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Balcony

Overall the ship was not bad. This had been my first cruise but had spoken with many others about it who had cruised. The staff needed more personality. The buffet needed a better selection with a bit more quality. Drinks needed to be faster and better quality as well. Maybe I had expected more from this cruise? As for the beds, they were pretty bad. The room was always cleaned nicely everyday, and the ship was clean as well. Cleanliness was not an issue what so ever, was very pleased with that. Also longer times on Islands would be nice. Would recommend again with better crew.

Pros: It was a cruise!

Cons: Lack of staff personality.

Recommends Star Princess? Yes!

Service and Staff
Some were excellent while others needed much improvement.
Entertainment
Seemed to be targeted towards middle aged and older people. Found it to be average.
Food and Dining
Food in buffet (anytime dinning) needed improvement. formal dinning was superb. Excellent food in restaurants
Cabin / Stateroom
Rooms are nice, beds are not. Bathroom shower is much too small.
Ship Quality
Very Clean, easy access.
