Review summary

The on-board activities were mainly inane--towel-folding lessons, fox-trot lessons (the fox-trot became passe 60 years ago).  Too much bus-riding on the off-ship excursions.  Why Argostoli?  Nothing but a third-rate cave and a so-so monastery.  Surely some other island would have been more interesting.  The solo guitarist for the last night dance party was really disappointing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Same as above.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Most felt like activities at a resort hotel in the Pocanos in the 1950's.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The evening shows seemed somehow repetitive. The piano-bar singer was terrific. Some, but not all, of the evening dance-parties were a lot of fun.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Friendly, competent, very helpful, patient

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Neither better nor worse than other cruises I've been on.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Very like other cruise ships. An in-room coffee maker would have been appreciated.

Ship tip

Bring a good book.

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

A visit to the historica. museum next door to the Doge's palace.

Kotor, Montenegro

Beautiful scenery, but nothing particularly memorable.

Corfu, Greece

I don't remember anything bout it.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

Nothing anywhere beats the acropolic!

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
Delos was ancient Greece as I had dreamed it. A highlight of the cruise!

Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece

The nadir of the cruise. Why, for heaven's sake, did we go there?
