A fantastic trip

We were pleasantly suprised with the great condition the ship is in. Since it's older, we expected it to look worn. It was refurbished last year and looks great. We've been on about 18 cruises and Royal Caribbean is our favorite line because of their friendly, happy staff that all seem to enjoy their jobs. The staff on this ship is the best of the best. They were always asking if we needed anything and eager to please.

Pros: Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff

Cons: extremely long wait for the shuttle bus back to P. Roma

Recommends Splendour of the Seas? Yes!

Corfu, Greece
The monastery is a great stop and has beautiful views. Achilles Palace is also great. Don't attempt to rent a car and drive. Our friends had to turn around and come back because the roads are so treacherous - narrow with lots of buses to cotend with.
Piraeus (Athens), Greece
Must see Acropolis. Plaka is neat to sit and have a snack or drink. City is rather dirty
Don't Miss: Acropolis
Katakolon (Olympia), Greece
Loved this stop - great shopping - wonderful waterfront seating to enjoy a drink and admire the view.
