Review SummaryWe recently completed a cruise on Royal Caribbean's Splendor of the Seas. We did a Barcelona to Venice cruise in the Mediterranean. It was a great experience! The ports of call were some of the most amazing places in the world. The beauty and culture was amazing!
The ship and staff helped to make the trip a complete joy. Always smiling, courteous, creative, energetic, eager to meet every need. We especially enjoyed the stateroom attendant's towel creations (animals shaped with the towels) in the evening.
The ship itself was also very nice. We reserved an economy cabin for four people on level 2 and found it to be quite adequate and well equipped. The beds were comfortable. Lighting was good. It was nice to have a television, as well.
The food service was also very good. The meals were well planned, and beautifully displayed and served. We enjoyed the fine dining room experience some nights and others we opted for the Windjammer buffet dining room. Both were very nice.
Overall, our experience was great and we would highly recommend the Royal Caribbean Mediterranean cruise!!!
Ports of Call
Pros: Great friendly service, enjoyable entertainment, great food!
Cons: Very poorly organized disembarking at ports of call. It takes far too long and is much more tedious than it needs to be.
