So much Fun!

Everything was fantastik on this ship. W've sailed Carnival before, and that was the only thing we had to compare to.

The Crew was excellent, with the exception of a handful of Solarium staff that were not as overly friendly and bubbly as the other staff. Our dining room experience was top-notch, and we loved getting to know our waitress.

The Stateroom was bigger than we expected, however, on this ship it seemed older and more "banged" up than the Carnival Ecstacy. The bedding was not as plush as what we had hoped for, but it was acceptable. We were on deck 2, and loved being closer to the water level. Looking out the window in the room was nice! We felt fewer waves on the lower levels than on the upper levels.

The entertainment was lots of fun. Crew staff goes overboard (no pun intended) on helping us have fun. Participating in the organized games is a must!

Ports of call were fine, we adored Costa Maya. Make sure and take a shuttle to "downtown" and walk the old town. The beach is beautiful and free! Don't fall for the "tours" at Costa Maya. You can have the same thing for free by taking the shuttle yourself for $6.00.

Overall a wonderful cruise! Would do it again in a heartbeat!

Pros: All of the activities on board

Cons: Bedding

Cozumel, Mexico
Too comercialized for our taste. But very nice. Very hard to walk down the street without being "hit up" for something... anything.
Don't Miss: Not sure the is one.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Don't stop at the shops at the end of the pier. Take a shuttle for $6 to the old downtown and beach area. Must get a massage on the beach - my husband loved it! Walk the street making notes of good places to stop back at on your way back down the street. Pick a cabana and order a drink. Sit on the beach for hours and watch the beautiful water! Definitely our favorite port.
