The embarkation was the smoothest and quickest we have experienced on our 4 Royal Caribbean cruises. The food service was the usual good food that we have enjoyed on other RCI ships. As far as entertainment is concerned, it was difficult to cater to 58 nationalities on the ship but it was good. Especially the Flaminco dancers. Our biggest complaint was the condition of the ship. The Splendour Of The Seas is far from a Splendour. Although a very nice vessel, it needs to be taken out of service and freshened up. New carpets and a fresh coat of paint would do wonders. We will however continue to sail with RCI.
