Cruising to Mexico is great!
Splendour of the Seas Cruise Review to Mexico
Ship: Splendour of the Seas
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Reviewed: 8 years ago
The staff on the ship were excellent and the staterooms were kept extremely clean. All of the food outside of the dining room was excellent. The dinners varied based on the menu and I think the entertainment was not as good as on a prior cruise we took. I also think there needed to be more activities for the 12-14 year old age group. The activites for the older teens were excellent and kept the kids very busy. The ports were great (Cozumel and Costa Maya) - both were different and we had enough time in each.

Pros: We just returned from our cruise to Cozumel and Costa Maya. Both ports were wonderful as were the excursions we took. The ports were very different which made the cruise more fun. The staff on the ship were excellent and very helpful in providing suggestions about the excursions.
Cons: We asked the travel agent about the ship as we were deciding between Splendor and the newly renovated Enchantment. It would have been helpful to know in advance that Splendor is almost an exact replica of the old Enchantment and that was a little disappointing.
