Perfect Length of Time!

Sail Date: January 06, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very clean and the food good. This is our second time on on this line and we enjoyed both our trips (took 4 kids both times). This is not a super high-end ship, but was well maintained. The 5 nights with 2 ports of call was a perfect length for our family.

Pros: Itinerary

Cons: kids clubs

Recommends Splendour of the Seas? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Beds were very comfortable and our cabin was always kept neat
Children's Programs
The shows were very good on this ship. Nice variety
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
food was good, but nothing to rave about. General cruise food.
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
This was my favorite site. It is not built up, other than the shopping. For 3 bucks, you can get on a bus to the beach club and enjoy some spectacular water
Cozumel, Mexico
steer clear of the shopping, rent a cab and have them take you to a local beach. Be careful with reviews as some of these were done before the Hurricane.
