Review summary
We cruised on April 6 ont he Splendour of the Seas out of Galveston expecting the time of our lives, but we were so dissapointed. We've cruised on Royal Carribean before and were very pleased, but not this trip. It was like they had cut back on help and it showed. Even in talking to the bartenders and dealers in the casino, many said they were going to either go back home or change to another cruise line. I know all of the negative press about the cruise lines has to have hurt the amount of people cruising, but the people on those cruises who still go regardless, do not need to suffer for it. We had to ask several times for drinks in the casino.....never did a wait person just come by and ask. The seas were rough and it made it very uncomfortable. The waitstaff in the dining room seemed to be inexperinced and not very friendly. As you can see, we were highly unhappy with the whole experience. Not what we've worked so hard for to enjoy !Ship experiences
