We enjoyed the cruise, but found the 3-night version to be a little too short. Seems like we had only just found where things were on board before we were having to pack up.

While we realize that the company has to make a profit, we found it a little off-putting to have as much selling going on as there was. For instance, instead of the nice coffee stand we remembered from a few years back, there's a Seattle's Best shop. While there IS still complimentary coffee, it's tucked away in a corner of the pool bar. Similarly, the soft-serve self-serve ice cream machine (which my kids loved) is hidden away, while the Ben and Jerry's shop is prominently advertised on the ship map.

Pros: wonderful food and service

Cons: unplanned 'day at sea' due to weather

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas? Yes!
