I was outraged by the waste smell

I booked 5 cabins all were located on the second deck from the moment we entered the second deck the smell was unbearable. It smelled like an out door bathroom. Guest relations told us over and over again all room were booked and we could not be moved to another room on a higher deck. The supervisor of the cleaning staff insisted she could not smell anything but other cruisers as they pass ed the open door could be heard talking about the awful smell. We were forced to endure this situation until late the next night after dark fluid started to bubble up into the shower in two of the rooms. We were then told that the supervisor's knew about the waste situation and the awful fumes that resulted from the waste problem, after again contacting guest relations for the fourth time insisting something be done, and letting them know we would no longer tolerate this situation, also making them aware we had been told by staff that they were all well aware of this situation . All five rooms (13 people) were then moved to higher decks. The smell was still up on deck 7 and 8 but bearable. I talked with a couple on the 10 floor that was complaing about the smell. This ship in my opinion should have never left port, no one should be forced to endure these conditions. The smell was causing several in our group nauseous and headaches, it also caused us to stay off the lower deck until we was ready to go to sleep. A new group was waiting to board this awful smelling ship as we left , shame on royal caribbean for caring more about the bottom line than people health and welfare.

The club for children was closed more than open, or they say pick up your child at 12pm and bring then back after 2pm then pick them up at 4pm and pick them up at 7pm

Service and Staff

the ship staff was very friendly and helpful. The guest relation staff and well as the stateroom supervisor should learn to be truthful with passengers. If the ship has a problem and they're aware of it, go above and beyond to do what ever is necessary to make passengers comfortable as possible don't lie over and over again until you can prove they're lying.

the wall carpets were so discolored they appear to be wet with water stains, the bathroom smelt awful even thou they looked clean. The shower head was so rusty I had to asked the supervisor would she take a shower with water flowing out of something rusty like that she had the head removed and was not replace until the next day.
