Ok, we decided to go cheap and get the lowest accomodations ---shame on us! Never again. The room was cramped (not quite like the picture, but are they ever?) and the service was lacking. No safe or refrigerator in the room and the sink leaked.

The service besides the main dining room was poor. We actually sat in a bar for 15 min and NO ONE came by to get our drink order. And overall the ship just looked worn down. I know its an older ship but there were stains on the carpets, chipping paint, etc. The guest relations desk was poorly informed and couldn't seem to answer some basic questions. Nothing like our previous cruise on RCL.

HOWEVER, on a good note. The food was great in the main dining room and was pretty good in the Windjammer (buffet style). Definitely lived up to our expectations there. Great food variety in Windjammer. The crew were great in making it an enjoyable vacation around Hurricane Ernesto. They managed to skirt around him and we avoided most of the weather, just a small dose of him for about an hour or so on the last day. Overall, we'll never go cheap again.

Entertainment

A lot of variety for each person's taste. Skip the scrapbooking session though, it wasn't worth the time wasted!

Service and Staff

Main dining waitstaff were fabulous but the rest of the staff left a lot to be desired. Most did not seem to go out of their way to help you.

Ship Quality

It was difficult getting to some areas of the ship. It seemed each elevator only went to certain floors. It was a smaller and older ship that needed some cosmetic work done to her.

Cabin / Stateroom

Doesn't get much lower than this! Lower level, interior room. Very cramped (more than expected), like stated previously, no safe or refrigerator. Minimal space to put away clothing etc.

Everything we needed was a short walk from the ship. Whether you wanted hand crafted items or jewelry, they had it all right there. Some of the people were a little pushy but otherwise a great port.
Don't Miss: Rainbow Reef Snorkeling excursion! It was awesome!!

Everyone was very friendly on the island. For a small island there was plenty for everyone to do depending on your tastes.
Don't Miss: Straw market! More open and friendly than the one in Nassau.

Pros: Main dining waitstaff, shore excursion

Cons: Unfriendly staff, accomodations
