The ship was an older one but it had been updated. The staff did an exeptional job from the stateroom attendant to the dining staff. We especially liked our waiter at dinner each night (Edwin). They had a different menu every night and it was a really good chance to try different foods that we were not used to. Breakfast and lunch in the Windjammer was also great. They did have the same thing everyday but because there were so many things to choose from we had a different experience everyday. CocoCay for us was a beach day. We didn't do any excursions but it was fabulous. We also liked Nassau. We toured the Atlantis hotel (very nice) and then come back and walked around town. The day at sea was fun. They had something to do all day or if you just want to lay in the sun you could do that too (get to the pool deck early to get a chair). The night life was great. We enjoyed the shows especially the Love and Marriage Show. This was our first cruise and we could not have asked for a better experience.

Pros: Relaxation and the food.

Cons: It had to end.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!
