Nice Cruise for price

Sail Date: October 08, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We have been on two other RC ships and this is definately 19 yrs old, It was clean and very good shape for the year. but a lot has changed. The rooms are small and dining is not as nice due to the one level seating, ( no 2 story dining room). the entertainment on this boat was exceptional. Great comedian, and totally fantastic dancers and singers. Very good cruise for money. Staff was good and freindly as usual on RC. A little hard to get around due to limited elevators and arrangement of boat compared to other boats. May be time to retire the Soverign, but still better than carnival.

Pros: Entertainment

Cons: size of rooms

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Good shoping. Straw market crowded as usual but good prices, Cabbage beach good deal for four dollar cab ride. almost vacant very good water.
Don't Miss: Atlantis , Quite a place to see. Just walk in No need to take a tour.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Wonderful area Clean with plenty of room for 2500 people. A lot of fun for all at this place.
Don't Miss: Food was very good on the island. Good Bar-B-Q
