GREAT CRUISE

Sail Date: September 17, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The cruise was wonderful. The Sovereign of the Seas is one of the older ships so some of the decor is slightly worn but that doesn't take away from the great experience. The food was delicious and offered many healthy choices. The stop at Coco Cay offered many choices of entertainment or allowed us to just relax on the beach. The service on the ship was excellent - from the cabin stewards to the waiters to the maintenance. Everything was taken care of immediately and we didn't have to ask for anything.

Pros: Everything - the service, the food, the entertainment, the ports of call

Cons: The Viking Lounge was too smokey - we couldn't use it

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)

Don't Miss: Just laying on the beach

We took the Yellowbird Party boat to the Blackbeards Island. It was a great time.
