The ship was just ok. The last cruise we went on the staff was more accomodating, and there was someone stationed at the door of the entrance to the dining room w/ hand sanitizer to help prevent the stomach virus which seems to be common among cruises. There were no such people on this one (fortunately I took my own). Also, the bathroom flooding due to what they said was washing the above decks was ridiculous. If there is a possibility of this, they should wait to wash the decks until the passengers are off the ship. Also, we dined in the downstaires room. The photographer with backdrops for formal pictures was on the floor above us, and we were never advised of his location. We just assumed this wasn't a feature of this cruise, until we saw photos of other people at the "photo shop". We would have loved to have a formal shot of us with our family and friends, but were unable to do so, as we weren't told of the possibility. At the very least, there should have been a posting of the photographers location so everyone could have known.
not a very pleasant experience
Traveled As: Family (older children)
Pros: being with my good friends (didn't have to be on the cruise for this)
Cons: our stateroom bathroom drain (not the one in the shower) began gurgling and flooding the bathroom. had i not returned to the room when i did i'm afraid the whole cabin would have been soaked. they said the reason for this was that in washing the above decks the drains were backing up.
