We recently sailed on The Sovereign Of The Seas for our second time and it was great!! They recently refurbished the ship and it was like a whole new ship to us, as it was 5 years ago we sailed on Her for the first time. We liked the addition of Serentos Pizza and the Johnny Rockets both stay open late and we took advantage of the late hours. As fate would have it we sailed through a depression and had some rough seas the first 2 days. The captain made a call to hold off going to coco cay because of the weather it was not a popular call until we went back 2 days later and had what would be the best weather day of the trip and the Captain was back in everyones graces. The barbeque on coco cay was very good and we rode the jet skies I highly recommend this trip if you can get inside the island it is absolutely beautiful and they can only run the inside of the island at high tide something to think about. The entertainment aboard ship was good the headliner was very good a variety show with singing dancing, juggling and good humor. Overall we had a great time for the money Royal Caribbean offers a consistantly better cruise to those of equivalent cost. We will sail again with RC and maybe even a 3rd Sovereign cruise!!

Pros: The crew was fantastic

Cons: couldn't get any cold water in the bathroom

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Ride the jet skies try to go at high tide they take you on the inside of the island and it's beautiful. Dont buy any of the cloths you'll find them cheaper in Nassau. The Barbeque was very good and all you care to eat
Don't Miss: The beach is excellent with plenty of lounges for everyone!
