Great Weekend Getaway

Sail Date: January 05, 2007

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

This was our sixth cruise and our fourth time on the Sovereign. The three days aboard was a great weekend getaway. As always the food was very good and the service we received was excellent. The ship did not have the feeling of being over-crowded.

Pros: Service was excellent. Food was very good. Very relaxing weekend. Ship did not appear to be over-crowded.

Cons: None

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Very splendid. The staff was attentive and the bar b.q. lunch on the island was very good.
Nassau, Bahamas
We did not book any shore excursions but opted for the shopping. Very good values in the jewelry-diamond stores.
