A true disappointment

Sail Date: October 01, 2006

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

We were certainly looking forward to our cruise, this was to be my mother and her best friends first cruise, and my sister her husband and 2 children as well as my family. We waited in lengthy line to get on board, and once on, it was difficult to catch an elevator on your floor, let alone one that wasnt busting full. Our rooms were very small, the food in the Windjammer was usually luke warm. While our waiter was excellent, the food he served was not nearly as tastey as we have had on previous cruises both w/ RCI and other lines. There were not as many activities for familys /young people as we wld of liked. Our children 2 teenagers and 3 children under 12 were complaining they were bored and wanted to lay in the room and watch the movies on tv.

Pros: our waiter

Cons: cold food, not enough activities

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.
