Sailing on the Sovereign

Sail Date: December 11, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

Ship appeared to be in relatively good condition but A/C problems and odors in certain areas were conducive to health problems.

Pros: Staff particularly stateroom and dining staff.

Cons: Ship is older and seemed to have A/C problems which caused nasal conjestion.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Island was adequate with basic services provided.
Don't Miss: Beaches
Nassau, Bahamas
downtown is rundown in city area and shops offered no great deal that couldn't be matched aboard ship. Senor Frog's Mexican restaurant was excellent qand to be recommended.
