We booked the Sovereign first and foremost, because it was so inexpensive. We had already planned a trip to Florida and when we saw how low the cruise prices had gotten, we decided what the heck, and added a cruise to our trip plans. It was only after booking that we started reading reviews and we instantly became concerned about what we may have signed ourselves up for. Let me tell you, there must be some very uptight picky people out there. We had the time of our lives. RCI has things together. Embarkation went smoothe and within minutes, we were enjoying this breathtaking ship. This was our sons' (ages 13 and 16), first cruise and our fourth. We all loved it. The food was GREAT. The service was GREAT. Everywhere, we saw people having fun. There were some stains in the carpets but they are reminders of how much fun some one must have had. We saw the crew constantly cleaning and even replacing carpets. Nothing on this ship looks 13-years-old. Our room attendant was so witty and she kept our rooms spotless. The drinks at the bars were tasty and resonably priced for where we were at. We purchased the kids' unlimited sodas -- what a great deal for $12.CocoCay is just beautiful and the picnic there was so good I wished I could have eaten more. When you are in Nassau, look for a local gentleman, named Johnny-Be-Good. He's an excellent tour guide and will definitely give you your money's worth. The food in the Windjammer Cafe was tasty and the dining room was out of this world. I asked for an extra serving and was always received with a smile. I think I gained eight pounds that week. This cruise is perfect for fun loving singles, families and couples who know how to have fun. If you are stuffy and snobbish, don't go.
