My husband and I just returned from Sovereign of the Seas on 9/30/01. This was my second cruise and my husband's first. We both loved it,and plan on going again the first of the year. The ship was beautiful(even for how old it is!)and kept in emaculate condition. The crew was constantly seen cleaning and polishing areas of ship.We had breakfast and lunch most days in the Windjammer buffet and found the food very good. We had dinner every night in the main dining room, and found food and service excellent. Our head waitress, Dagmar, was the highlight of dinner. What a pleasent and hard working lady this was!!! I really enjoyed speaking with her about her travels and the customs of her country.Sorry to say we missed evening shows, due to Casino!!!What a blast...we walked off the ship with winnings paying not only for that cruise, but the next one in January, 2002.What more could you ask for? Don't bother going into Atlantis for the casino. We went, but did nothing but lose there. The ship's casino was much better. Our weather was perfect, and CocoCay was beautiful. Be sure to look for those "Island Lizards" found up in the trees there--fasinating!Only down side to the whole experience that we saw, was the size of rooms...very tiny, but considering not much time spent there,it was bearable and kept very clean. I would highly recommend this cruise for price and value. Can't wait to go again!! S. Haumesser
