Great Time

This was our first cruise experience. We loved Royal Caribbean. The crew was excellent. We sailed on Sovereign of the Seas. If you don't drink, gamble or night club, then there was not a whole lot else to do. We did enjoy the shows in Follies Theater. The dining room was a great experience. Our wait staff was always on top of things. We really enjoyed Coco Cay. We thought that it was the best part of our trip. But it was hot there...use sunscreen often. We found out on the first day of the cruise that Sovereign had been sold, but the atmosphere was as if it was the first sailing of her. Overall we loved cruising with Royal Caribbean and look forward to cruising again.

Pros: Friendly & Helpful Crew

Cons: Not enough activities for non drinkers & gamblers

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
Small rooms but we managed and had enough storage for everything
Had an okay variety of activities. Not enough non alcohol & non gambling activities. Suggest casual bingo, board and card games.
Ship Quality
Always clean
Food and Dining
Great food, dining room experience was wonderful
Service and Staff
Everyone always willing to assist, stateroom attendant was excellent. Giving tips for on shore excursions and sunscreen warnings for different islands.
Nassau, Bahamas
We did the Atlantis Day...a lot of walking...we were exhausted by the time we go to the beach. We ate at Dive In, burgers were dry. We had 4 choices for our meal and only one was open, we were very disapointed in this tour. The Straw Market at Nassau was very congested and the merchants are very persistant.
Don't Miss: Walk around is beautiful. We enjoyed the aquarium and architecture.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
Everything about Coco Cay was great. Do everything you can there.
Don't Miss: Take time to take in the beauty of the island.
