Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Great for first time cruisers. Daily activity pamplets were very helpful. Could not hear most announcements from PA system, however. Staff very friendly and efficient. Beds very comfortable. Food taste good not great. Plenty to do.

Pros: Staff was great, especially Illusions Dining Room, comfy beds

Cons: No 24 hr buffet, No food available after 9:00pm

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? Yes!

Service and Staff
No problems. Most friendly, some aloof.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very comfortable just not so spacious.
Very crowded not enough seating at shows. Get in early to get a seat or you will stand. Read daily iteneraries for schedules. Entetaining.
Children's Programs
Not alot for teens 12-17.Only One TV for gaming. No real planned activities.
Ship Quality
Some confusing elevator/stairs areas. Some areas remind me of the 1970's.but in a good way. Worn interior, scratched gold in elevators and centrum.Small enough to learn in 3 days.
Food and Dining
The service is what makes this a great experience. Definately do not miss!
Food presentation great, taste good not great. Food on buffet seemed to be same things in dining room just buffet style minus fancy stuff.
