Wonderful Cruise

Sail Date: December 07, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

I was very impressed with the staff on board. They were very helpful and went out of their way to make sure your experience was a memorable one. The rooms were exceptionally clean-they changed the linens twice a day! The food was wonderful, I've never seen so much.
We were a little disappointed that the shops closed so early. Also they closed whenever the ship docked.
Also, the cutoff time to add tips to your sail pass card is too early, they have the cuttoff time on the 2nd day, and it reall should be available on the last night so that you can add tips at the end of the trip.

Pros: Great food, fun activities, clean rooms, friendly staff

Cons: Shops close early not open when needed most.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was huge, very clean. Beautiful furnishings and decor, I loved the glass elevators and the chandeliers. It was easy to find your way around to the different areas.
Food and Dining
The food was sensational, so much to choose from. The dining staff was professional and made our dining experience pleasurable, we even got the dining time we requested.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had booked a suite, and therefore had plenty of room. I loved the fact that we had a private balcony. The stateroom attendant was great, he made our stateroom look gorgeous.
Service and Staff
Very helpful and friendly. Went out of their way to be helpful.
Lots of parties, exotic drinks, shows.
Nassau, Bahamas
The Pirates of Nassau is a must see! It was interesting and tons of fun. We got a little fustrated though walking around, because it is hard to look at stuff that you want without vendors pestering you too death.
Don't Miss: Pirates of Nassau
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
The nature walk was fun, we also enjoyed the sandy beach and crystal blue water.
Don't Miss: The nature walk, swimming.
