Our first cruise to the Bahamas

Sail Date: November 01, 2007

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The staff are wonderful, our room was always well taken care of. The deck on the 11th floor was always hopping with fun caribbean music, and the Comedian we saw twice as he was very funny. The Captain gave a strong but friendly presence which made it easier for us first time cruisers. One thing that was a bit of a problem was the size of the shower, not much room in there. That being said, this line is deffinately the one to go with. Nassau is more for shopping while Cococay is the place to beach at.

Pros: Cococay was wonderful

Cons: Nasseau made me wish we could just have spent an extra day on Cococay

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? Yes!

Ship Quality
Beautiful ship and loved how easy it was to get around.
We loved the comedy show, it helped make our time fun.
Food and Dining
I would suggest a larger quantity of food options.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom is rather small, however that is to be expected and how much time are you gonna spend there anyway?
Service and Staff
The staff from the stateroom and the food cooks and servers ya just have to love these people, very friendly and helpful.
