Not the best cruise I've ever been on.

Sail Date: August 01, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

I was extremely disappointed with the accomodations. I paid the higher price to have a suite and could not get any sleep the entire cruise. Our suite was right across the hall from the service elevator. All we heard all night was the elevator and the employee door slamming shut. We also were underneath the galley for the Windjammer. Again, all night we heard carts going overhead.

Pros: The employees.

Cons: Our suite.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? No.

Entertainment
There could have been more shows.
Ship Quality
The only problem with the condition of the ship was the sewer smell near the elevators on occasion.
Food and Dining
Dining room could be larger.
Cabin / Stateroom
The suite size was good and the balcony was wonderful. However, if your going to book a suite on this ship make sure your not under the resturant.
Service and Staff
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
We didn't enjoy this port.
Nassau, Bahamas
We did the glass bottom boat ride. It was OK.
