A Memorable Experience

Room Type: Oceanview

This was our first cruise and we are already planning another. We were impressed with how friendly all the staff were. The ship was beautiful and always clean. The food was fantastic. Though the staterooms are small, they are adequate for what we needed them. All we needed was a place to clean up, change and sleep. Very comfortable beds. We had 1 night when the toilet wouldn't flush. I notified guest services and there was someone at the room repairing the problem within about 10 minutes. There were so many activities to choose from, we couldn't possibly do everything that interested us. We loved the production shows in the Follies theater. What talented performers! CocoCay was just beautiful. I wish we had more time to spend there. We had heard that there were a lot of people at the Nassau dock that would try to sell things to you. We didn't find this to be the case. The Nassau port was quite pretty and the people were very friendly. The few street vendors that were around were not bothersome.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? Yes!

Ship Quality
It was easy to learn your way around, plus there are maps everywhere to help you find your way around.
Food and Dining
We took advantage of trying foods we hadn't eaten before. It was nice to know you could always get something else if you didn't like it. We rarely didn't like it. The food was great.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
What a great group of people! The staff work so hard and always have a smile and a greeting. We enjoyed all the different accents. Everyone goes overboard to make you feel like royalty.
Loved the Follies theater shows. Casey's game shows were hilarious. The musicians were all very talented. There were so many things to choose from, it was hard to decide what to do at times.
Nassau, Bahamas
I wished I hadn't spent so much time in the straw market. The merchandise in the stores was of higher quality and the shopping much more comfortable.
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)
There were lockers available for a small fee. Bathrooms were abundant. The island is beautiful!
Don't Miss: The wave runners.
