A fun cruise for Kids and Parents

Sail Date: July 16, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Inside

The stateroom attendant was great! We always had clean towels and the room was always clean.
The Waiters in the Dining Room were great with the kids (9yrs old). They
had kids menus so the kids were able to eat what they like the most.
Adventure Ocean, the children's play center fro 9-11 yrs was alot of fun for them. The staff were very nice and were very upbeat and friendly.
As for the adults, the Casino was fun but very smokey. It was difficult playing at any one game table or slot machine due to someone with a cigarette always near by.
CocoCay was fun and the weather was great. The Sea Trek Water Park was fun for the entire family. The Water Slide was also very fun for the adults as well! Everyone should try it!

Pros: CocoCay was fun with lots to do.

Cons: The Fort Tours in Nassau

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED)? Yes!

Entertainment
Ship Quality
The two pools are a little on the small side. Designed cooling off not necessarily for swimming.
Food and Dining
Dinner was always excellent. Never had the lunch buffet. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of variety.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Children's Programs
Nassau, Bahamas
The tour of the Forts during the Nassau tour was not that exciting and it was too hot to pay attention to a tour guide.
Don't Miss: Don't miss the Aquarium at the Atlantis Resort
Cococay (Cruiseline's Private Island)

Don't Miss: The Water Slide is great fun!
