Bahama Disaster

Sail Date: February 02, 2007

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was old. The pool wasn't heated and the rooms were very small. Our television didn't work properly and was never replaced.

Pros: the food and beverage servers

Cons: unheated pool, nothing set up properly for the Superbowl, nothing planned for an alternative when we were unable to go to our island due to bad weather.

Recommends Sovereign of the Seas (RETIRED) 232? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
The room was very small. The location was good but our television didn't work properly the whole trip.
Ship Quality
The ship was clean but outdated.
Food and Dining
The food was good and the servers were efficient and friendly.
Activities were limited. Pool not heated. Bingo was fun. Superbowl was not covered well. Rooms were set up to watch the game without any wait staff.
Service and Staff
The staff was very friendly and provided quality service.
Nassau, Bahamas
It was very crowded. Traffic was horrible and the drivers did not respect pedestrians. Cross the street at your own risk seemed too be their motto. The straw market had good values.
Don't Miss: the straw market
