Overall good cruise, a bit disappointed I really expected more for the first crossing Thanksgiving was lacking decorations They need more staff and they should have a little more training in how to treat the passengers a smile means a lot

Brand new ship with some problems. Our cabin had co start noises behind wall maki g difficult to sleep. Not much response from maintenance . Food choices could have been better. Usually Princess staffs new ship with best crews. Not necessarily the case here.

As a new ship, it had some kinks to work out. They brought experienced staff from other ships to smooth the transition. Does not ride as well as the Regal Princess. The officers were out and about with the captain in frequent appearance as well. The itinerary was exceptional and great for an active person. We loved it. We went with friends we met on the Regal Princess so it enhanced our trip.

Food sucked! Medallion worked excellently! Old folks can be cranky! Ship was really noisy. A lot of creaking, rattling and shaking. The first night we kept waking up the noises were so loud and scary. I'm hoping it's like a house and just needs to settle.

We took a back to back cruise (Barcelona to Rome and then roundtrip Rome) on the brand new Sky Princess. The ship was beautiful but more passengers than I'm really comfortable with - I prefer smaller ships. The itinerary made for a dream vacation. Crew, as usual, were outstanding. Passengers - not so much. There seemed to be an awful lot of entitled people aboard. Saw several disagreements because of overcrowded elevators (people continuing to push in even when it was obvious there was no more room; people rushing to get onto the elevators before others could exit -- simple physics, folks!) If you're not bound by time requirements, I would highly recommend going in the fall, which is off season. In many of the ports, we were the only ship there. I can't imagine what the crowds would've been like in the summer when there were several there at the same time. The weather was still pleasant (mostly in the high 60s to low 70s although we did have several days with rain).

Overall, the cruise was excellent and I'd definitely recommend Princess and would do another. My only real complaint was too many ports in a row and a few of the ports of call were very short days to see the area. If booking again, I'd look for longer times in port and more sea days between ports.

My husband and I enjoyed this cruise for our 55th anniversary and we weren’t disappointed. The ship arranged six interesting dinner-mates for us making each evening fun for us all. The entertainment was excellent and we never lacked for something to do.

Trip of a lifetime! Athens, Corfu, Barcelona, Gibraltar, Rome ......... cant beat it. And we would go out of our way to sail on the Sky Princess again!

Wonderful cruise and it was special being part of the inaugural event.

A general observation is that I feel that gone are the days of cruising that welcomes all who board to feel special. The industry seems be catering more to share holders than us “common folk.” The entire experience now seems to be catering to the “Ruby Medallion Class or above and Suite passengers” that are willing and able become frequent customers are willing and able to spend freely on all the “extras” that would add hundreds of dollars to your final costs.

We had such an enjoyable time on the Sky Princess and we were so glad to be a part of it's maiden voyage. Thank you for providing such great staff and service.
