Review summary

Service was terrible and the clientele was even worse. It was like a nursing home closed for a week and sent all its residents on a 7 day cruise. Crotchety, miserable old people. Never got to eat in main dining room, they were booked every night. Never got to see any shows bc of a private group booking. I spent a majority of the cruise watching Everyone loves Raymond in my room. Seriously considered flying him from one of the ports but husband wouldn’t let me. Worst time on a cruise.

On a 14 night Sky Princess cruise right now. Hubby and I are both under 55 (just 🫣). Ship is fully booked. Have eaten in MDR each night, have seen the 10pm Theatre show each evening (got seats without any problem by turning up at 9.50pm), and had no problem finding a sun bed on sea days. I’m so sorry you did not enjoy your cruise as this one has been lovely (as was our only other previous Sky Princess cruise last year).

On sky now and not experienced anything like what you describe, no problem booking the restaurants, all you have to do is phone dining reservations, staff are lovely, entertainment is good and the food is lovely, granted, the passengers are of an older generation, but at least there's no uncontrollable kids running about. Today us a sea day and you do struggle to get a seat as the cruise is fully booked, not a problem if you are prepared to wait and not spit your dummy out just because you can't have it your way. I have witnessed some horrible entitled passengers on this cruise, the way they speak to the staff makes me cringe sometimes, they are horrible, makes me ashamed to be in the same area as them.

It’s either a troll or someone who didn’t research the cruise. Maybe it was best for the rest of the passengers that you stayed in your cabin.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise, we've sailed on Sky 4 times and enjoyed each one. Maybe try one from the UK . We've got one booked in 2025 and can't wait.

I've just done a 31 night USA/CANADA cruise on the ship & it was fantastic, most guests were 50 - 60.

Even worse when they take up seats in a bar without a drink in front of them, then nod off. If you need to sleep, go back to your cabin!
