Huge traffic queues in the port care of very poor organisation with the parking companies, or whoever runs the traffic on embarkation days? Maybe there was a strike there, as this seemed to be a possible explanation, which instantly killed Princess’s method of embarkation by using the app and ‘timed’ slots… we arrived at our allotted time but couldn’t get into the terminal for two hours!

Earth shattering pizzas and pasta.. served at double quick time despite being a sit down venue. Impeccable service and you can almost feel the waiters rushing about behind you, clearing and preparing all those happy tables whose prime role is to introduce passengers to the best pizza on the sea…! Simples!

Sarah and her team were amazing as always… her boss was ok as well so I better mention Andy or he will pick me out in October when we meet up again? Lol!

Sterling staff and just as shiny Effy store too… the watch store was so busy they almost sold out of a couple of brands.. TIP, shop early here! Mirza and his team are all very caring and make things so easy to shop for… they know their stock so just ask for some careful non pushy assistance. Our medallion touched the tills many times.

Clean and tidy…. However, the pool areas were a no go area for anyone who actually wanted to swim even one single length due to all the unruly and clearly uncared for children jumping, running, and drinking INSIDE the pool area? DO SOMETHING PRINCESS… BEFORE SOMETHING UGLY HAPPENS?

NEVER BOOK A PRINCESS CRUISE IN SCHOOL HOLIDAY TIME UNLESS YOU ARE OK WITH NO ACCESS TO THE SWIMMING POOLS!
Far quicker to get off the ship than on… what does this tell us? Oh yes, Organisation and a conversation with the port traffic control maybe a great start?
Seeing more and more issues with unsupervised kids running wild and acting like it is an ‘anything goes’ party (not many, but the percentage is building). Glad your trip was otherwise great, unlike another reviewer who had very little good to say.
