Always try to fly Business Class--makes for a much more enjoyable travel experience. I would suggest pricing the flights yourself and compare to Regent's pricing and itinerary as sometimes Regent does not furnish the quickest overall flight itinerary.

Better to make your own pre-cruise or post-cruise hotel arrangements - even factoring in the transfers, you save a lot of money.

I PAID FOR THE UPGRADE. A FLIGHT DIRECT FROM D.C. TO ICELAND TAKES A LITTLE OVER 5 HOURS. INSTEAD, I WAS BOOKED FROM DULLES,DC TO BOSTON AND THEN TO ICELAND. AS A RESULT, MY FLIGHT FROM D.C. WAS DELAYED, I MISSED MY FLIGHT TO ICELAND, LOST A DAY IN ICELAND, AND MY LUGGAGE WAS LOST.

We paid extra for the business class which is worth it, however the Air Services department booked our return flights through Paris with no extra time for delays. We literally had to run to our gate so we wouldn't miss our plane. If we were to use them again, we would insist upon better planning.

Be prepared to miss ports of call because of bad weather or other misadventures. Don't expect much from Destination Services.

Already made my comments about my Business Class experience on SA airline above. While on the cruise I learned from a couple they were able to arrange a Delta flight from Atlanta Airport. This option was not offered to me according to my Agent.

we paid extra (350.00) to pick our flights which may or may not have been a good choice. They did not allow us to use Delta Airlines which would have been our pick as we use the Delta AmEx card and would have gained extra flight miles. However, we had a non-stop out of DTW to London .

Fly SAS business -- they are a great airline and got us there and back without any problems. Try to get the non-stop flights.

Watch the connection time on your flights. Air France was 30 minutes late getting into Boston and we missed the domestic connection. There is a very long walk to the domestic terminal with poor signage. If you take the bus, be prepared for a 15 minute wait for the bus.

Do fly business and always fly a day or two in advance.

Voyager Master Suite My review centers specifically around the Master Suite experience, #700. This writing reflects a just completed 18 day Southeast Asia cruise. It is meant for the traveler that prefers the Master Suite and looks for that level of luxury. My family has traveled on this cruise

Regardless of the cabin, fly business from the USA to the ship, even if you have to pay a little more. Insist on non-stop as Regent will try to make you connect going and returning.

Be sure to ask for a tour of the Bridge. (Your Butler can arrange this, or the Desk.) It is AMAZING how they maneuver this ship. PS Tel the Captain if you like him to sound the horn leaving port. I don't think they know how popular this is!

in some ports, it's pretty long walk to the tour busses. If walking is a problem, ask the wonderful Regent crew to take you inane of their wheelchairs. You can't KEEP the chair for the tour, but at least you'll get to the bus!

Regent's land tours in Tallinn, Estonia all seemed to require a LOT of walking on rough cobblestones, etc. The shuttle into town only went to a lackluster outskirt of the interesting part of town, requiring MORE walking to get anywhere interesting.

Get to the Shows a bit early, so you can order a drink. They will stop serving when the entertainment starts.

The espresso machine at Coffee Connection on Deck 5 makes WONDERFUL cafe-au-lait. Also, there's almost always something great for a "continental breakfast" or a snack.
