Review summary

This was a great cruise. I met a bunch of very nice folks from multiple countries that made the cruise even better. This class of ships is just right with a great crew and interesting passengers. This cruise was long enough to get to know the crew and passengers.

Embarkation

This was the best embarkation process I have experienced yet. The ship was located at terminal 25 in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This terminal is makes embarkation easy.

The dining room was great I did not have a bad meal. I also ate in two of the specialty restaurants which were fantastic.

Best steaks are always cooked on Chop’s Grille.

Schooner Bar

The best bar by far also the biggest Schooner bar I have found. The bar tenders are very friendly and the drinks are very good.

This is my favorite part of Serenade as the view out of the windows sitting on the couches is indescribable

This is a small casino compared to the Oasis class but the dealers, bar tenders and the people in general are friendlier and having a better time. I really enjoyed the casino and bar.

Entertainment

This cruise featured some great acts. The Serenade Orchestra was good. The Schooner bar featured a pianist named Henry who wa great to listen to.

Cinema

The Cinema is small but the seats are comfortable and the picture quality is excellent.

Centrum

One of the best views outside of the glass elevators and go to the 9th deck and look down on the Centrum during the nightly entertainment.

Service and Staff

The staff and crew are very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel at home. My stateroom attendant kept my cabin clean and tidy. The dining room waiters were friendly and cared about you having a great meal.

Ship Quality

This ship is clean and well maintained. This class of Royal Caribbean ships is one of my favorite. The glass elevators are a real plus.

Cabin / Stateroom

I enjoyed my balcony cabin it was clean, comfortable and the balcony provided great views. My cabin was clean and very well maintained.

Ship tip

This ship has a great Schooner Bar. The milkshakes at the Latte a tude cafe are very good. The roast beef sandwiches in the Park Cafe are very good too.
