I loved this itinerary and would definitely do it again given the opportunity. Plenty of ports and sights to see. It's a great ship with plenty of activities for all ages.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Since I was a suite guest, and also the timing of my arrival, I showed up, got in line, waited maybe a minute or two and was on my way.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
All the food and drink was amazing. I ate at the main dining room all but one night. The one time I did notI went to Chops for a steak dinner. So good. Recommend if you want a great steak with a more private experience.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Some of the onboard activities I did included mini golf, a belly dancing class, ice carving (watching), a wine tasting class, listening to live music in the cigar bar, a massage in the spa and dancing in the club with the rotating bar, watching a movie in their theater.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Listened to the steel drum band poolside was awesome. Nothing says beach vacation to me like listening to a steel drum band. Listened to pianists as well as violinist and guitarist all in different lounges/bars. Impressed by all of them.
Children's Programs
I don't have children so I didn't partake in any children's programs.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I was impressed by all the staff. I was not let down by any of them. The waiter and headwater were always checking on us and seemed to genuinely care about us as people. The concierge and concierge bartender were super personable and helpful. The room steward, super nice and helpful. Pretty much anyone I Interacted with were great.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
This was the second time on this ship so I already knew the layout and liked it a lot. Ship was very clean and the design was easy to navigate around. It's not the largest ship so you aren't trekking around forever to get to a show/activity from your room or dinner, but it's not so small that you can see it all in a short period of time. The overall decor was very pretty.
Cabin / Stateroom

I had a grand suite. To me, this is the perfect size. You have a normal sized bathroom with a tub and enough room for two people to get ready. The room itself is quite spacious and IF i had someone else staying in the room using the couch/bed, I could still have my privacy since curtains could be pulled to separate us. I loved the huge balcony with chairs and table. Made it nice to sit and eat on the balcony, although a lounge chair would have been preferable for prolonged time gazing at the water or reading a book.
Ship tip
Look at the Compass daily and highlight things of interest. There are some cool things to do that I would not have known the ship offered if I hadn't had sat down each morning to review it.
This was the second time visiting San Juan so I didn't do much for excursions, but last time I was here I did the Bacardi Factory tour and quite enjoyed that. The tour of the fort was also pretty cool.
This time, I toured San Juan on my own, doing a walking tour of Old San Juan before heading to the Hard Rock Cafe for a drink and a pin then off to the ship to embark on the cruise. It has a lot of history to see if you are into that. Recommend renting a scooter or getting a taxi as I underestimated just how long it'd take to get back to the ship and was stressing out some.
Beautiful, loved it. Did an island tour visiting some local sites and ending with some time at the beach. The water was super clear. Did some snorkeling here and it was really easy to see fish. The only hiccup was that on the tour, a tire blew out on our bus and we had to wait a bit for new bus, but the group of tourists were pleasant and didn't get upset over it and our tour was still went on for the expected amount of time. After I got back, got cleaned up and headed back in port to visit the nearby fort and city area and shops.
Beautiful, loved it. Did an island tour visiting some local sites to include a lighthouse and ending with some time at the beach. The water was really pretty, slightly cloudy I think due to the salt and recent storm stirring up the water some. But it was a great temperature. Enjoyed sunbathing before heading back to the ship. Did some light window shopping and trinket shopping before heading back to the ship.
I've been to St Thomas before and visited Magen's Bay the first time. A bad storm had just hit the island this time so many of the beaches and excursions were cancelled. Did some shopping around in the port and then ended up catching a taxi and going to a hotel and camped out on their beach.
Super easy. Since I was in a suite, went to special lounge with some light munchies. Ensured I filled out my customs form and once I picked up my luggage, was in/out rather quick.
